The Harrisburg University Esports Invitational (HUE) is an annual collegiate esports invitational that is sponored, hosted and organized by Harrisburg University. It is one of the largest university-run tournaments in esports and hosts a multitude of colleges and universities in Harrisburg for a weekend-long event. HUE 2024 hosted 15 schools across 3 different esports titles, crowning 3 different HUE champions.
HUE relies very heavily on student volunteers and is an excellent setting for esports management degree students to gain experience in various roles. Though for this event i was slated to primarly volunteer as a tournament operator, I was granted the oppourtunity to shoot HUE, it becoming my first major event as a photographer.
